The senior grandchild managed to pose for her dad even though she was home sick from school. (looks mighty good to me, but kids bounce back quickly)

The bouncer

Here, Haylie is telling Ian all about the Bouncer. He is listening intently, and will probably enjoy jumping on it about this time next year.

Ian's first bath

Just one day shy of his 6week birthday, Ian was subjected to his first tub bath. The earlier sponge baths don't count! There were a few cries and tears initially but as this picture confirms, he seemed to think it was okay. Please note the hands on involvement of the big sister! She felt duty bound to squirt cream, lotion. etc. into the water, and enjoyed cleaning in between his toes.

. . . with Joshua on the drums!

His favorite piece to play is Pictures at An Exhibition. Good taste, huh?

Ian ventures out for the first time.

Wow, what a lot of dressing goes into taking a January baby out to buy diapers and wipers! Here is Ian in a fuzzy blue zip up suit over his long sleeve undershirt. The next layer is a bigger, warmer white fuzzy snow suit complete with hood. The final layer seen here is a fleece-lined corduroy cover that fits over his car seat. This has a velcro peek-a-boo flap which prompted this shot. He must have been comfortable. He slept coming, going and shopping.

The attraction of a Merry-Go-Round

Haylie enjoyed her ride but kept looking up at the bigger kids in the "habitrails". Pretty soon she will big enough and brave enough to give it a try.

A cute shot!

Haylie and Mommy had a couple of hours at the Mall. Of course no trip is complete without a trip to the Disney store where Haylie was treated to an adorable Little Mermaid ensemble (she wouldn't wear the jacket). She loved the dress and wore it all through lunch and naptime.
