We had a wonderful vacation trip in Ocean City. All of us missed having Jo there full time but maybe next time it will work out better. Miniature golf, pool, beach (day and night) laser tag, Frontier Town, THE BOARDWALK, and Assateague Island boat trip filled our days. The traditions of Hacienda, Lido's, the Crabcake Factory, Tequila Mockingbird, Dumsers, Dough Roller and Rita's were all honored. The older the kids get, the better they get along. Lots of fun and happy times!
More pictures to follow when I see what the others snapped.
This blog is the labor of love of a grandma who just loves to post pictures of her three grandchildren (as of January 15, 2008, there are four grandchildren! Welcome Ian Mitchell Fyfe.) The site is completely impartial; just who happens to be visiting and looks good at the time. If count were taken, grandma would be the most frequent visitor! Hope you enjoy browsing. The Wild Ponies!!!
Our cruise to Assateague Island included a narration by a marine biologist who had small sea creatures on board for all to touch (if we dared). He taught us a lot and helped us to spot ponies along the way. Part of the cruise included disembarking on the island and trying to scoop up marine life ourselves. When the ship's horn sounded we all headed back on board. Haylie and Ian were wonderful sailors.
Looking for sea animals
Haylie just couldn't resist posing with the mermaid (a favorite creature of hers)
Two cuties playing in Ian's big closet
Can't you just hear the sweet strains of "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star"?
A Fun Day
